Stockton Arena Named “Top 10 Top Stops” By Venues Today

STOCKTON, CA – Venues Today, a leading international trade publication that covers the business side of entertainment and sports, recently announced its “Top 10 Top Spots” for California, ranking the Stockton Arena ninth in the 10,001-15,000 seating capacity category. The rankings were based on seating capacity, total gross revenues, total number of concerts and events, and total attendance from January 1, 2009 to December 31, 2009.

The Stockton Arena recently generated record-breaking revenue during the Harlem Globetrotter's 2010 World Tour held on January 14, resulting in a 9.3 percent increase in ticket sales revenue in comparison to when the Arena first hosted the Globetrotters in 2006. Some of the best-attended shows held at the Arena in 2009 included Professional Bull Riding, Marco Antonio Solis and Pepe Aguilar, Vicente Fernandez, Sesame Street Live and High School Musical.
